Client FAQs

Questions, Answered.

Everything technical founders and decision-makers need to know before starting a project with us. Straight answers, no fluff.

Engagement & Pricing

What is your minimum project size?

We work across a range of budgets and tailor our approach to the scope of each project. Typical engagements fall into these brackets: $5K–$15K for focused builds like landing pages, simple automations, or CRM integrations; $15K–$50K for full marketing sites, custom web applications, and AI-powered growth systems; and $50K+ for enterprise-grade platforms and ongoing product development. If your project does not fit neatly into one of these ranges, we are happy to discuss a custom structure during a free strategy call.

Do you work on fixed-bid or time-and-materials?

We use a hybrid model. For well-defined scope — a landing page, a specific automation workflow, a CRM integration — we quote a fixed price. For ongoing product development or iterative builds where requirements evolve with learning, we move to a transparent time-and-materials retainer with weekly reporting. Either way, you will never see surprise invoices.

What does an ongoing partnership look like?

Most retainers run 40–80 hours per month with a dedicated team (strategist, engineer, designer) and a shared roadmap that we revisit every six weeks. We handle the full cycle: discovery, build, test, deploy, measure, iterate. You get a Slack channel, a live project board, and a monthly business review where we talk outcomes, not just output.

Our Process & Tech

What technologies do you use?

We build on a modern, performance-first stack chosen for speed, scalability, and maintainability. Front-end work centers on Astro (our primary framework — islands architecture for near-instant loads), Next.js when full React SSR is warranted, Tailwind CSS for lean, consistent design systems, and Shadcn UI for accessible component libraries. On the back end, we use Laravel for full-featured applications and CodeIgniter for lighter builds, always paired with carefully structured PostgreSQL or MySQL databases. Everything runs in Docker containers, deployed through automated GitHub Actions pipelines with zero-downtime rollouts.

How long does a typical build take?

A focused marketing site with CMS integration typically takes four to six weeks. A custom web application or AI-powered growth system ranges from eight to sixteen weeks depending on complexity, data migration, and third-party integrations. We front-load discovery to eliminate unknowns — the first week is always a deep-dive mapping exercise before writing production code. We give you a precise timeline during the proposal phase, and we hit our dates.

How do you handle project management and communication?

Every client gets a dedicated project channel (Slack or your preferred tool), a living roadmap in Linear or Notion, and a weekly status note covering what shipped, what is next, and any decisions needed. We run two-week sprints with clear deliverables, and you have direct access to the people building your work — no account manager buffers. For larger engagements, we do a monthly business review where we align on priorities and measure real outcomes against goals.

Support & IP

Who owns the code and intellectual property after launch?

You do. One hundred percent. All source code, design files, database schemas, documentation, and any IP created during the engagement is transferred to you upon final payment. We retain no license, no claim, and no ongoing royalty. You are free to modify, redeploy, or hand it to another team — it is your system.

Do you provide ongoing maintenance and post-launch support?

Yes, and we recommend it. Most clients stay on a monthly retainer for maintenance, performance monitoring, security patches, content updates, and iterative improvements. We also offer a pay-as-you-go support option for teams that prefer handling day-to-day changes in-house and only call us for architecture reviews, performance issues, or feature work. Either way, we do not disappear after launch.

Scale Faster With Intelligent Systems

If your question was not answered here, let's talk about your project directly. We will design a system that performs, scales, and stays maintainable for years to come.
